Thank you for this tip. I used coconut oil on some shells I carved and this brightened it up and left it soft to the touch.

I like the smalls, you can do more with them

Just before the pandemic I had gone to Cancun and found some really beautiful shells like a sundial and a lightning welk. This time when I went I wanted to collect some more but then I saw a video that said that hermit crabs were using plastic bottle caps to use as “home” shells. Considering I know what it’s like to be homeless I decided not to collect.

Is Barefoot beach fairly easy to find?

That’s why you keep your water shoes on at all times and make sure you stay away from the waves like today. They were like super strong here and make sure there are no dogs on the beach. Please do another video that dogs should not be allowed on public beaches.

Just now seeing this. Been watching a few shelling vids lately. This is by FAR the most exciting one, yet!!! I'm excited and sad at the same time. I'm ooohing, ahhing, gasping, "Look at that! Grab this!" I want to be right there, right now! Lol. Fantastic variety in one spot. Oh what fun!! Learned a few things, too. Great video!

Great episode. I was there last week and the tide was pretty high. Lots of stuff in the water but it was too deep for me to reach without a mask. So I shelled in the wrack line which wasn’t too good but I found a lot of “micro minis” including several rice olives which I had never found before so that made it fun. Love to watch your videos.
